Welcome to my website ! I live in Newcastle upon Tyne, with my wife Sarah and our black cat Belle.
I like to read, especially about 20th century history, Stoicism, detective and science fiction, and 1970s boys' comics. Living in the Byker area of Newcastle, I take an interest in the history of, and current events and activities in the area. Sarah and I enjoy visiting restaurants and taking the occasional foreign holiday - either to Tenerife in Spain for some winter sun, or city breaks in Europe (we've been to Reykjavik, Prague, Rome, Berlin and Amsterdam so far).
